Rail, er, Windows XP crash

Observed in Cambridge station yesterday…

Closer inspection reveals this:

The funny thing was — it was like this in the morning, and was still in crashed state when I returned from London in mid afternoon. So, strictly speaking, shouldn’t it read “Inactive Desktop”?
